Policies & Terms

Thank you for choosing MayBay’s Galaxy Co..
Please review the following policies carefully to ensure a smooth and successful experience.

Booking & Payment

  • A 35% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date and time, unless otherwise stated.

  • The remaining balance is due four (4) days prior to setup, unless otherwise stated on your invoice.

  • No booking is confirmed without receipt of the deposit or full payment.

  • Dates are not held without a deposit. All bookings are first-come, first-served.

  • Quotes are valid for 14 days. Pricing and availability are not guaranteed until payment is received.

  • Failure to remit final payment by the due date will result in cancellation of services and forfeiture of all payments made.

  • Rush bookings (less than 7 days’ notice) may incur a $50–$100 rush fee depending on scope and availability.

  • Accepted payment methods: Zelle, Cash App, PayPal. A 3% processing fee applies to PayPal payments.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the event date.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days are non-refundable.

  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • If cancellation is made more than 7 days in advance, any payments beyond the deposit may be refunded or credited at the discretion of MayBay’s Galaxy Co.

  • Requests to change event date, time, or location must be made at least 7 days in advance and are subject to availability.

  • Rescheduled events must occur within 30 days of the original event date.

  • Minor design changes must be submitted at least 5 days prior to the event.

  • Major changes may result in additional fees and are subject to availability.

  • Last-minute changes (within 72 hours) may not be accommodated.

Design & Customization

  • All décor is custom-designed based on your selected colors, theme, and event space.

  • Inspiration photos are welcome; exact duplication is not guaranteed.

  • Final designs may vary slightly due to product availability, inflation, and space limitations.

  • Specialty balloons, florals, or add-ons may incur additional fees.

  • MayBay’s Galaxy Co. reserves the right to make minor adjustments based on real-time conditions.

  • Color matching with third-party décor or lighting is not guaranteed.

Setup, Access & Cleanup

  • Setup typically requires a minimum of 2 hours, depending on the design size and complexity.

  • The client is responsible for ensuring timely and safe access to the setup location.

  • Additional fees may apply for stairs, elevators, long-distance hauling, or delayed access.

  • The setup area must be clean, clear, and ready upon arrival.

  • If rental items are included, same-day breakdown/cleanup is included.

  • If no rental items are included:

  • Cleanup is optional and starts at $25+

  • Otherwise, the client is responsible for takedown and disposal

  • If a venue requires same-day removal and cleanup was not booked, MayBay’s Galaxy Co. is not responsible for resulting fees or penalties.

Room, Hotel & Proposal Setups

  • Room and proposal setups are completed discreetly to preserve privacy and the surprise element.

  • Accurate access times and instructions must be provided in advance to guarantee completion before arrival.

  • Delayed or denied access beyond the decorator’s control may affect setup time and may require rescheduling or additional fees.

  • Proposal and room décor bookings follow the same deposit, payment, and cancellation policies unless otherwise stated in writing.

Weather & Outdoor Installations

  • Outdoor setups are completed at the client’s risk.

  • Balloons are highly sensitive to heat, sunlight, wind, rain, and humidity.

  • Shaded or covered areas are strongly recommended.

  • MayBay’s Galaxy Co. reserves the right to refuse or stop installation if conditions are unsafe or will damage the décor.

  • No refunds will be issued for outdoor setups once installed.

Liability & Safety

  • Once décor installation is complete, full responsibility transfers to the client.

  • MayBay’s Galaxy Co. is not liable for damage, injury, or loss due to environmental conditions, guest interaction, or improper handling.

  • Balloons may pose choking hazards and should be kept away from children and pets.

  • The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless MayBay’s Galaxy Co. from any claims related to décor use, placement, or event conditions.

  • Liability is limited to the total amount paid for services.

Photography & Marketing

  • MayBay’s Galaxy Co. reserves the right to photograph completed décor for marketing and promotional use, including social media and website content.

  • If you prefer your event not be photographed or shared, written notice must be provided at the time of booking.

Final Acknowledgment

Policies are subject to change without notice.
By submitting a booking request or payment, you acknowledge and agree to all policies and terms set forth by MayBay’s Galaxy Co.
